Today's ride took me through the town of Tillamook. I skipped the cheese factory~ been there done that~ and went straight to Fred Meyer, where I got a light-weight sleeping bag and a camp stove that works. My other bag was too warm- woke up each morning drenched in sweat. And my other stove flat out wouldn't light.

I also happened upon this funky little family owned cafe/ knife shop (pic), where I updated the ole blog. Seemed like an interesting combination. While I was there, I was cornered by the town raving political dissident who took me through a numbing history of government corruption and such.
