Day 13, Saturday, Lincoln City to Newport, 20 miles

Tlo, me, her dog, my steed, and Madre Mar, in Depoe Bay. The ride was short and beautiful. sweeping views and wonderful weather. Taralee saw a whale in the waters behind us before I got there. Some guy with a Whale watcher organization came by and gave her a special 'I saw a whale' sticker to further rub in the fact that she had seen one and I hadn't. I tried to grandfather myself into sticker contention based on the fact that I have seen whales before, but to no avail. Bastards... :~P
